ELECTRIC VISION presents 'Live To Change Something Through Art' group art show, Brooklyn

That was super fun, my footage finally got edited from the opening night of the CDTBK show. I had two pieces in there. Big shout out to all my fellow artists and artistas who shared their creative energy, Rasu, Daoud and Dakhil of Coup d'Etat Brooklyn and Nakeisha Gumb, our beautiful curator, for making it happen so smoothly. Also, thanks to Robert L Sims III for the editing work.

Coultrain on wax!

I first met Coultrain years ago, when I was new to Brooklyn. He was sitting, strumming a guitar at a party in Crown Heights, just looking like he was about to blow up. He had the look in his eye. Soon after, I begun to get my hands on his music, and I've never been disappointed. He was most recently known for his work with PPP, but will be dropping his solo full-length soon! First, look out for his 2 singles "The Wanderer" and "Balancing Act" in both 7" vinyl and digital release FEB 23rd on Recordbreakin Music. Check out teaser site HERE (where u can see lyrics and have a listen to the singles!).
Here is a little snippit I found on The Mint Collective.

IYADEDE

WHERE DO YOU CALL HOME? My mother and father's desire.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM? A floating cloud that rains black diamonds once every 2211 years over the Easter Island.
WHAT DO YOU DO? Sweet things when they come to my mind.
TRUE BEAUTY IS... all or nothing
BEATS... Heart
TRUE SEXY IS... Unaware
MUSIC IS MY... Wealth
ART DOES NOT ... no such thing as " art does not...", art Does...
MY NIGHTS ARE... Dark silent and content
THESE 3 TURN ME ON... sea sun and coconut rum
SELF-KNOWLEDGE... is a box
ENOUGH OF... ruthless talking
MY CREATIVITY IS... mine
TRUE POWER IS... generous
LIFE CAN BE THE... fastest thing ever

TO LOVE IS TO... see
I'VE GOT FLOW BECAUSE... I am part of it
WORDS YOU LIVE BY: "Don't believe your mind"
