Being from the mother of all motherlands, I thought this would  be a useful opportunity to promote a cause as well: "Young Entrepreneurs Africa," (YE,A) - a nonprofit giving tools and skills for African Youth to get theirs the entrepreneurship route and not have to rely on charity. The complete rhyme and reason of it all is at http://manifestmc.com

I work with some incredible musicians who dedicated massive amounts of time and talent to make this happen so I couldn't take full credit for this release. The download includes liner noteswhich is a first for free digital releases as far as I know. We give thanks.

Production Credits: G Mo, Budo, O-D, Katrah-Quey, 40 Winks, Dee
Vocal Features: Krukid, Sarah White, Dodi Phy, Mandi

Ok, lets begin...

Although I decided to stay in BK for the big day, I stayed glued to CNN watching as the moment unfolded. Warm on my futon with my fam....
We have a lot of work to do in this country and it's time to get serious.. But first, can I just say, to hear Etta James (Well ...Beyonce singing Etta) as the opening song for the dance @ the "Ball" was almost as moving as the speech? I love me some Etta, so seeing our President get down to that, sealed the deal.
Lets get to work people. It starts within.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

We hoped for, believed in, prayed for, watched anxiously and counted the votes....

Barack Obama made world history last night. Beautiful moments to live through, indeed.

The world was watching and hoping for a change too. Having traveled around the world for years, I've seen the way the US began to lose its credit in the world's eye during the last 8 years...now time has come to change that and recognize that we have come from the same source and as people we have a responsibility toward one another...to recognize and apologize for our past wrongdoings and to assure that solidarity and love for our fellow human soul travelers win over the will to power and greed. Obama is the symbol of this, which is why he touched so many all over the world. Click on image to check the world's reaction to this historical victory.

FINAL COUNTDOWN!

i'm sure y'all tuned into these historical moments...to get further inspiration, check some Obama inspired artwork on my other blog : part 1 and part 2.
Also, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO WEAR GEAR WITH OBAMA RELATED IMAGES ON ELECTION DAY, or else you will be turned away from the polls...rock it before and after, but not on November 4th!
