New York, NY – May 22, 2009 premieres Noble Technique Arts & Subculture Arts Fest. The New York based art collective, Noble Technique, presents the first of a four - part event series highlighting New York City based arts and subcultures.
This festival will be celebrated in a four-part series, individually focusing on Dance, Skate culture, Kicks (sneaker) culture, and the Body Arts.
The first is "DANCEINFUSED" and is a unique window for viewing the culture of dance and celebrating everything about it.
“DANCEINFUSED” is presented in a 7500 sq ft. interactive loft space at Die Fabrik in NYC’s Soho district. The opening reception from 9pm – 11pm features the work of photographers, painters, and videographers on their interpretation of dance, as well as a collection of autobiographical work of well - established representatives of dance. The rest of the evening continues until 2am with performances, interactive displays, and a celebration with music provided by Hardy Boys featuring DJ Lloydski and Blu Jemz.
Performances throughout the evening feature the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory, dance photographer Lois Greenfield & The Dario Vaccaro Dance Project, Broadway dancer/choreographer James Kinney and NYC nightlife’s, Roela LaMazing, interactive demonstrations by Voguers, Capoeiristas, B-Boys, B-girls, Burlesque, and more. An ongoing exhibition of the visual displays will continue for the rest of the weekend, May 23 & 24, 1pm - 7pm.
